Even as visionaries, it's unlikely our founders Paul Lake and his brother-in-law Lloyd Racine could have foreseen the growth of their fledgling insurance business when Lake Agency first opened its doors 1946.  The founding partners retired (in 1972 and 1984, respectively), but they had laid the foundation for a corporation that has become one of Michigan's most respected independent insurance firms.  Now in our sixth decade of service, the third generation of this family owned agency continues to observe the same business philosophy that has been the hallmark of Lake Agency since its inception: "Our client’s security and peace of mind is our first priority."  They have repaid us in kind, putting Lake Agency first when it comes to insurance representation.  

Lake Agency's hi-tech office bears little resemblance to our first quarters, where a single, World War II surplus typewriter handled the policy writing chores.  But our selectivity in choosing insurance companies has remained the same.   As independent agents, we utilize only the most reputable companies whose commitment to our customer’s satisfaction equals our own.  Good coverage at competitive rates.  Today we administer the personal and commercial insurance needs of over 7000 local and national clients from our modern facilities in Grand Blanc, Michigan.
